Where we stay - Canazei
Canazei (1,460m) in the Fassa Valley is the village next to Campitello. It is a larger town, with more restaurants, supermarkets, good shopping and pleasant wine bars. Accommodation is modern and ranges from brand new bed-and-breakfasts and apartments to 4-star hotels.
Access to the mountain is on a high-speed, 15 person gondola that moves 2,400 skiers per hour and then links in to the Sella Ronda region. Canazei has a home ski trail that arrives on the edge of the historic part of the village. The local ski school has English speaking instructors and it also has a small children daily program “Kinderland”.
