It is now mid-December and it has been a great start to the 2010/11 season. Lots of regular snowfalls has built up a big base of snow all over the moutsins. The pre-Christmas skiing is a quiet time on the slopes. The last week has been cold and clear with some new snow yesterday. This weekend all the action is in Val Gardena for the World Cup Downhill and Super G races. Then next week in La Villa it is the World Cup GS race. There are over 400 lifts now open.
