Booking terms and conditions

  • Deposit required to secure your booking is up to $500 per person, per week
  • Balance due 2 months prior to arrival
  • Payment accepted by cheque and most major credit cards

At Dolomites Ski Tours we try to accommodate your needs throughout the booking process. We’re available and happy to discuss your requirements over the phone or send us an email. We generally can give confirmation of your booking overnight. Then to secure your booking we require a deposit – this is usually around $500 per person, per week.

The balance is then payable due two months prior to your arrival. We are happy to accept payment by cheque, direct bank deposit and most major credit cards. We will issue you with vouchers and connection details to the resort.

Terms & Conditions

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE BOOKING

In these Conditions “We”, “Our” and “Us” refer to Dolomites Ski Tours Pty Ltd ACN 065 528 458 and “You” and “Your” refers to the client making the booking and all members of the Party.

DEPOSIT: A deposit of up to A$500 per person per week and a signed booking form are required at the time of booking.

FINAL PAYMENT: Final payment must be made by the date specified on the booking form.

AMENDMENTS: Amendments of confirmed arrangements may incur a charge of A$50 for each amendment per file, plus any applicable cancellation charges.

CANCELLATION: Cancellation of Your booking may incur a charge of A$150 per person. Cancellation within 90 days before departure incurs a fee of the full deposit and in addition any fees levied by the hotels or operators which in most cases can be as high as 100%. We strongly advise You to take out insurance against cancellation for medical or other reasons.

LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS: Bookings made 15-40 days prior to arrival must be paid in full within 5 days of booking. If not received, the booking may automatically be cancelled.

PASSPORTS AND DOCUMENTATION: A valid passport is required for all persons departing Australia and in some instances a re-entry visa to return. Your travel agent can assist in obtaining the necessary documentation, however, it is Your responsibility to ensure You are in possession of the necessary documentation in compliance with current government and transportation companies regulations.

HOLIDAY COSTS: Holiday costs in this website are expressed in Australian dollars based on exchange rates as at the 7th June 2013 and are subject to change with or without notice.

EXCHANGE RATES: Costs are subject to Change until Dolomites Ski Tours receives full payment based on current exchange rate in its office. DST has a policy of currency hedging and attempts to cover all bookings once a deposit has been paid.

HOLIDAY COSTS DO NOT INCLUDE: Airport taxes, airline tickets, passport costs, visas where required, laundry, beverages, meals other than specified, excess baggage charges, insurance, gratuities or tips not listed under holiday inclusions. Additional costs incurred by weather or failure of transport services or other circumstances beyond the control of the holiday operator or acting agent are also not included but are normally covered by Your own travel insurance.

INSURANCE: Comprehensive insurance covering snow and ice sports is compulsory. If You take out Your own insurance independently, make sure the policy has snow and ice sports cover in particular.

RESPONSIBILITIES: All tours and quoted holiday prices are based on known schedules, fares and tariffs and exchange rates at the time of printing and We specifically reserve the right to modify the itinerary and holiday prices in any way considered necessary or desirable or to change any reservation or accommodation feature without notice and for any reason whatsoever, and the extra cost, if any, to be the account of the client. We reserve the right to cancel or withdraw any holiday or any booking made for a client or decline to accept or reject any person as a member of a holiday. We shall be under no obligation or liability to any person as a result of any inaccuracy, miss-description or changes to any holiday or its itinerary, or for the losses or additional expense due to delays or changes in air or other transport services, sickness, weather, strike, war, quarantine or other causes. Baggage and personal effects are at Your own risk throughout the holiday and it is Your responsibility to effect insurance if desired. As the arrangements for the holiday as specified in the itineraries represent a complete package of arrangements an itemisation of costs will not be rendered. A payment of deposit will indicate an acceptance of the above conditions by You.

SNOW CONDITIONS: Ski fields provide at regular intervals snow reports indicating conditions at time of compiling. It should be understood that We cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for snow conditions. No holiday can be cancelled, altered or amended once the holiday has commenced on the basis of snow or weather conditions or without limitation or other circumstances beyond Our control.

VALIDITY: These holidays are valid from the 1 July 2013 to the 30 April, 2014.

LIABILITY CLAUSE: All arrangements are performed under the exclusive responsibility of different contractors. We only act as agents for the contractors providing the various services herein and so do not accept any liability in connection with such services or for any loss, injury or damage to or in respect of any person or property regardless of whether the identify of the contractor is disclosed or not. Any liability which We might otherwise have to You or to any person claiming through You is excluded or limited to the full extent allowed by Law. Notwithstanding any degree of fault on Our part Our maximum liability to You and to any person claiming through You in respect of any services provided by Us will be: • to supply the services again; or • to reimburse the amount paid by You for the services; or • pay the cost of having the services provided again. You indemnify Us regardless of any degree of fault on Our part to the full extent allowed by Law from any claims which might be made against Us by You or by any third party including any tour member arising out of or in connection with the services provided to You by Us. The general exclusions and limitations of liability and indemnities given by You will not be limited in any way by the other provisions of this agreement except and to the extent of their express terms.

We accept no responsibility for any injuries, accidents or loss of personal belongings.
